And by the title, of course I mean snow! It was the first snow of the season in my little town! I'm so excited! Everything has just the perfect amount of snow covering it. Not so little that it still looks mostly baren, but not so much that everything is buried in it. It looks so beautiful.

And my town is pretty perfect-looking when snow comes. We still have a lot of old early 1900s buildings, so of course they look like old-fashioned christmas cards when the snow hits them. In short, I love snow.

I hope it isn't gone by tomorrow. Somehow, snow looks even prettier the second day than the first.

I love tigers. That basically summons me up pretty well. I'm crazy enough about them to drive an hour or so every weekend so I can go to my local zoo to see the tigers and other animals there. I talk to them sometimes, and I think they understand me. Think I'm crazy? So do I, sometimes. The photo above is a picture of my baby tiger cub, Grom (okay, technically he's not mine, but he is very special to me). He's now in Colorado Springs at the zoo there, and I miss him very much. This is the very first photo I ever took of him, when I was still new to photography and I sucked at it pretty badly. But I think it represents me 'cause it's not really about getting the perfect shot with the best lighting, or getting that elusive animals in the wild shot (I am a zoo photographer and proud of it), but it's about forming a bond with the animals you photograph. A picture is worth a thousand words, after all, and every one of my photos has a different story behind it.

Its nothing, really. Its nice to see people so passionate about tigers, because that raises awareness, and hopefully helps to save them. :heart:
